GMI Insurance Services: Celebrating our 25th Year!
April 5, 2005, Valley Forge, Pennsylvania:GMI Insurance Services of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania is celebrating 25 years of providing auto insurance services for the transportation industry nationwide.
Founded in 1980 by Norman Trudel, GMI employs an ever expanding support team, now more than 60 members strong. Having expanded recently into their large corporate headquarters facility, Norm Trudel explains, "the space is perfect for our company culture and with the growth we have had and are expecting in the future, this move was a necessity."
Norm continues to be the guiding force behind the insurance services provider's success but has assigned the function of the day-to-day business operations to another generation of Trudel siblings. GMI President, Mark Trudel, is "hands-on" everyday! Conversing with current and prospective Rental Fleet insurance customers and independent agents, Mark carries through on the company's 25 year commitment to personalized service.
Karen Trudel, the company's Chief Operating Officer manages two major but diverse business perspectives: implementing GMI's marketing strategies while pioneering valuable relationships with insurance markets. According to Karen, "We are very proud to be celebrating 25 years, it shows we are very stable, focused and accomplishing our goals. With our succession plan in place we look forward to another 25 more profitable years."
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, Carter Trudel, heads-up the dollars and cents aspect of the company. Supported by a staff of experienced accountants and a finance manager, Carter focuses his expertise on GMI insurance accounts in the Rental Fleet, Business Auto Monoline, and Auto Lease & Loan divisions.
Serving as Vice President /Legal Counsel, Michael Trudel spends the predominance of his time as a consultative liaison to GMI's dedicated claims firm, Corporate Claims Services. In this capacity Michael says his goal "is to guarantee that our clients receive the best claims service possible." He is also very involved in loss control and risk management service for our clients.
Unanimously the Trudels agree, "We are excited to have attained such a milestone as the celebration of our 25 years in the transportation insurance business. We look forward to our continued growth thanks to our valuable, long-standing clients and our dedicated and supportive services team."
GMI offers an array of transportation insurance programs including Rental Fleet for autos, trucks, and motor homes; Business Auto Monoline; and Auto Lease and Loans.
