How To Do Business with GMI Insurance
If you are a licensed retail insurance agent or broker, you can do business with GMI. We can accept a new piece of business without a Producer Agreement in place. However, in order to receive a quote from GMI, we need a completed and approved Producer Agreement in hand. Producer Agreements are valid for one year. If no binder is executed, a new agreement will be required. To initiate the appointment process we will need:
- A completed GMI Application
- A signed GMI Agreement
- Signed copy of current IRS W-9 Form
- Proof of E&O Insurance ($1M/$1M min. required)
- Valid insurance license in your resident state, and a license in any other state in which we would write an account.
