GMI welcomes Nick Stadtlander to our Business Development team.

Nick started his insurance career with a local State Farm agent and wound up in the E&S wholesale arena at AmWins. With personal and commercial lines under his belt, his well-rounded background made him a great fit at GMI. He’s one of our Business Development reps supporting our Business Auto, Cannabis Transport and General Liability programs. We wanted to catch up with him to find out a little more about our newest team member.
When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?
The way I stay motivated is by working on a planned schedule. I try to set aside time each day to certain things. This stops the day from being random and allows me to accomplish my goals and stay motivated.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy getting a chance to speak to people all over the country every day. I feel like it broadens my horizon the more I learn about others.
What did you want to be when growing up?
When I was growing up, I wanted to follow in my Dad’s footsteps and become a video editor, but I ended up following my Mom into the insurance industry. My parents have had a big influence on my life.
What is something unique about you (a fun fact) that few people are aware of?
While it is not a unique skill, I love music and I play the guitar. I used to play shows at my local bars a few years back. I suppose that’s my creative side coming out.
Do you have any programs that you are currently binge-watching?
My wife and I have a habit of starting to binge shows and end up moving on too quickly. One show that we watch though is "Judy Justice". Judge Judy has been one of the people I have been watching since I was a kid, and it is mindless fun.
If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
I would bring a collection of books (it counts as one thing), a magnifying glass to make fire, and a large tarp for protection from the rain. I’m a practical kind of guy!

hitclub hôm bữa mình cũng tò mò vào thử vì thấy bạn bè nhắc hoài. Mình không rảnh để ngồi xem kỹ từng thứ, chủ yếu lướt qua xem trang họ làm kiểu gì thôi. Vừa vào là thấy giao diện khá dễ thở, không bị nhồi chữ hay màu mè quá, nhìn một lúc là quen. Mấy phần nội dung được chia thành từng khối rõ ràng nên kéo xuống vẫn biết mình đang ở đoạn nào, không bị lạc. Cái mình thích nữa là menu để ngay chỗ dễ thấy, bấm qua lại nhanh, không cần mò nhiều. Nói chung chỉ cần lướt vài phút là nắm được cách họ sắp xếp, nhất là mấy khung thông tin…

I’m kinda picky with game pages because most of them feel like a wall of noise, but this one was weirdly easy to read. The writing doesn’t try to be fancy, it just tells you what the game is and you can skim without missing anything important. I clicked around The Drift Boss in the middle of reading and it had the same vibe—straight to the point, no clutter. The whole one-button drifting setup sounds simple, but you can tell it’s gonna punish bad timing fast. Also nice that you can just play in the browser without jumping through signup hoops. kèo nhà cái 5 hôm bữa mình lướt thấy người quen share nên bấm vào xem thử cho biết, kiểu tò mò thôi chứ không có ý “soi kèo” gì. Vào trang cái mình để ý ngay là phần kèo bóng đá trực tuyến họ làm dạng bảng nhìn khá rõ, cập nhật theo trận trong ngày nên kéo xuống là thấy thông tin chạy liên tục. Mình cũng có đọc lướt đoạn giải thích “kèo nhà cái là gì”, viết đơn giản, không vòng vo nên ai mới tìm hiểu chắc cũng nắm được khái niệm nhanh. Ấn tượng đầu là trang này tập trung khá rõ vào mảng “kèo nhà cái”, có mấy bài giải thích khái niệm với cách bắt kèo nên đọc lướt cũng hiểu được hướng họ muốn nói gì. Mình không thích mấy site chữ dày đặc, nhưng ở đây họ chia nội dung thành từng khối nhìn thoáng, kéo xuống không bị loạn. Phần dữ liệu kèo trình bày theo dạng bảng/cột nên mắt bắt nhanh, khỏi phải dò từng dòng mệt. Mấy mục nhận định bóng đá cũng tách riêng, tiêu đề nổi nên nhìn phát biết đang nói…
