California cannabis limited retail access puts legal cannabis sales in jeopardy.

California’s Medicinal and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act (MAUCRSA) and Prop. 64 require growers to use distributors to sell their product. With middleman costs, local retail restrictions—and the ongoing illegal trade—smaller premium strain growers are being squeezed out of the market. Many of those Mendocino-based growers have turned to a localized online direct sales and delivery platform to stay in business in this now hard cannabis market.
