Bipartisan U.S. Representatives have reintroduced the Path to Marijuana Reform Act (PREPARE Act) to the House of Representatives. The bill would allow the federal government to study the effects of cannabis legalization and seeks to create a federal tax structure for the cannabis industry to ensure that those businesses have access to financial services. Additionally, the bill would protect federal cannabis research from interference and ensure that veterans have access to medical marijuana.
